On this day in 1951, a large advert appeared on page 3 of The Stage.

'Arnold Fringe' was a pseudonym used occasionally by several of the Goons. Indeed, he was credited with writing the scripts in at least one early article, with Spike Milligan acting only as translator.


We're only a month away from that fateful first episode, folks...
